Market Outlook:-

• Gold steadied on Tuesday after falling for three days.
• Spot gold was trading up 0.1 percent at $1,244.3 an ounce by 0059 GMT.
• U.S. gold was up 0.1 percent at $1,245.30 a tonne.
• The United States may be in line for an interest rate hike as soon as April.
• Asian stocks wobbled on Tuesday as the hawkish comments from Fed officials stoked uncertainty about policymakers' intentions less than a week after Fed Chair Janet Yellen had set out a more cautious path to rate increases this year.
• Sale of 135,148 ounces of gold bullion at average price of $1,260/ounce for proceeds of $170.3 million.

सोना 13 महीने और क्रूड 3 महीने के ऊपरी स्तर पर 

मंगलवार को इंटरनेशनल मार्केट में सोने और चांदी की कीमतों में मामूली गिरावट देखने को मिल रही है, लेकिन उत्पादन को लेकर ओपेक और दूसरे बड़े उत्पादक देशों में सरगर्मी बढ़ने से क्रूड का दाम करीब 3 महीने के ऊपरी स्तर पर पहुंच गया है। हालांकि 40 डॉलर के पार जाने के बाद ब्रेंट क्रूड में करीब 1.5 फीसदी की गिरावट आई है। लेकिन क्रूड का दाम इस साल के रिकॉर्ड स्तर के आसपास बना हुआ है। 20 जनवरी के बाद से क्रूड करीब 50 फीसदी महंगा हो चुका  है। माना जा रहा है कि रूस और अन्य क्रूड उत्पादक देश 20 मार्च के बाद बैठक कर सकते है। इन्ही सब संकेतों का असर घरेलू मार्केट की इस बीच अगले हफ्ते होने वाली यूएस फेडरल रिजर्व की बैठक से पहले सोने का दाम 13 महीने के ऊपरी स्तर पर पहुंच गया है। माना जा रहा है कि अमेरिका में फिलहाल ब्याज दरें जल्दी नहीं बढ़ेंगी। हालांकि गोल्ड ईटीएफ की होल्डिंग में थोड़ी कमी जरुर आई है, लेकिन अभी भी ये 1.5 साल के ऊपरी स्तर पर है। ऐसे में कॉमैक्स पर सोना 1270 डॉलर के आसपास कारोबार कर रहा है। चांदी भी 15.5 डॉलर के पार है। घरेलू मार्केट एमसीएक्स पर सोना 1 फीसदी की मजबूती के साथ 29880 रुपए प्रति दस ग्राम के आसपास कारोबार कर रहा है। वहीं, चांदी करीब 0.5 फीसदी बढ़कर 37730 रुपए प्रति किलो के ऊपर कारोबार कर रही है।

ज्वैलर्स की हड़ताल जारी, सरकार के आश्वासन का असर नहीं
 सरकार के आश्वासन के बाद भी ज्वैलर्स ने अपनी हड़ताल जारी रखने का फैसला किया है। ज्वैलर्स एक फीसदी की एक्साइज ड्यूटी के विरोध में 2 मार्च से हड़ताल पर  है। हाल ही में सरकार ने आश्वासन दिया था कि वो इस मसले पर विचार करेंगे।

अनिश्चितकालीन हड़ताल पर गए देशभर के ज्वैलर्स

बजट में गोल्ड ज्वैलरी पर 1 फीसदी एक्साइज ड्यूटी लगाने के विरोध में देशभर के ज्वैलर्स ने अपनी हड़ताल अनिश्चितकाल के लिए आगे बढ़ाने का फैसला किया। सरकार के आश्वासन बावजूद ज्वैलर्स ने हड़ताल बढ़ाने का फैसला किया। ऑल इंडिया जेम्स एंड ज्वैलरी फेडरेशन के चेयरमैन श्रीधर जीवी ने कहा कि सरकार की ओर से कोई पॉजिटिव खबर आने तक हमारी एसोसिएशन से जुड़ी 358 अन्य एसोसिएशन और 3 लाख से ज्यादा ज्वैलरी कारोबार से जुड़े लोगों ने अपनी हड़ताल को अनिश्चितकाल तक आगे बढ़ाने का फैसला लिया है।

Gold retained gains from a three-day rally on Monday to trade near its highest in two weeks, boosted by a weaker dollar and caution from the Federal Reserve on the timing of a possible hike in US interest rates. Spot gold was little changed at $1,181.71 an ounce by 0331 GMT. It climbed to $1,187.80 on Friday, its highest since March 6, as the dollar tumbled.
Gold futures reach two-week high: - Gold futures edged up on Monday reaching two-week highs, amid modest gains from the euro against the U.S. dollar. Gold futures traded at a daily low of $1,178.60 in U.S. morning trading. Gold futures likely earned support at 1,148.20 the low from March 17 and resistance at 1,196.20 the high from March 5.
Crude oil futures soared on Monday, as the euro continued its steady rally against the dollar upon expectations of an interest rate hike by the Federal Reserve at some point this year. On the New York Mercantile Exchange, WTI crude for May delivery rose 0.82 or 1.72% to $47.37 a barrel. Last Friday, futures for April delivery surged roughly 5% as speculative oil traders used the weakening dollar to hedge their positions in crude.
MCX Copper April expiry contract recovered on the back of some bottom fishing. The prices gained for the third straight day in a row. The closure for the Copper was at Rs 386.2 per kg. However it is critical to note that Copper is in a rising wedge pattern. The prices have been in a rising wedge pattern and that means that is the bearish indicator for prices to fall further in coming days.
